Tune in to your true nature with meditation at ISHTA Yoga
ISHTA signature meditation classes are open to all levels. The class begins with a gentle asana sequence to prepare and restore the body for meditation. The ancient tools of pranayama (breath work), visualization, and mantra (sound) are used to still the mind.
This class will leave you feeling centered and more in tune with your true nature.
When I go to meditation classes at ISHTA, I feel calm as soon as I go in the door. The energy of the studio is so positive and healing. It's like a sanctuary within the city, a place for me to return to my breath and connect with my true self.
South African Tantric and Kriya Yoga Master Alan Finger began studying yoga at the age of 16 with his father Mani Finger and renowned swamis of the past century. Alan and Mani created ISHTA Yoga. The ISHTA style integrates breath-based flow yoga with alignment, meditation and healing bodywork. Before creating a home for ISHTA, Alan co-founded Yoga Zone, Be Yoga, and Yoga Works. Alan has authored several books and travels the world to share his teachings.
Meditation helps me stay calm and grounded through the ups and downs of life. I look forward to meditating at ISHTA every week. It has changed the way I handle my work, my relationships, and my inner dialogue.
