Allison has been practicing yoga for 10 years. Her teaching is informed by her love of movement, her curiosity of anatomy and the human body, and her devotion to moving the metaphor of our practice from the mat and into our lives. Allison’s classes draw from a thorough understanding of alignment principles, a lifetime of eclectic movement studies, and a career of teaching movement to people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels. Allison is honored to take the seat of the teacher at Ishta Yoga. She offers gratitude to all her teachers especially Alan Finger, Jean Koerner, Kristin Leal, and David Beadle.
