The Bhagavad Gita provides an explanation of our role in life and how we can find actual happiness right now. In contrast with our typical pursuit of happiness through external marks of success and wishing for things to change, the wisdom found in the Gita turns on a light in a room we often didn’t know was dark. Once the light is on, our way is evident. Real happiness, what in Sanskrit is called Santosha, then flows from our right actions.
