12:00 : Chakras for Self-Empowerment (Studio 2)

The chakras are the headquarters of each element in our body: earth, water, fire, air, and space. They have a profound effect on our physical, emotional, and energetic states and govern much of our decision making in life.  When we are conscious of the chakras and how they influence us, we can use the tools of sound and visual to help us come into alignment with our truest, most authentic self. When the chakras are disharmonized, so are the choices we make. In this full day intensive, we will explore how the different chakras manifest and effect us in every day living.  Alan will teach you how to use the tools of kriya and meditation, while Sarah Platt-Finger will lead you through lecture and asanas to empower you to live a life of wisdom, integrity, and unbound potential

14:30 :Kriya Yoga: Tools to Connect you to the Divine

Most human beings are governed by their unconscious, which is developed through the programming of one’s life experiences.  Living in the unconscious inhibits us from experiencing insight and bliss in each moment of our living.  Kriya means action to purify. In this class, we will explore ancient kriya techniques and learn how to integrate them into the asana and pranayama practice, leading us out of the unconscious and into a state of super-conscious, which is unbound and unlimited.  Yogiraj Alan Finger will then offer tools for samyama: how to bring that inspired state into each moment of your living.

16:30 : Master class Alan Meditation: Calling Your Own Name

This ISHTA Tantric meditation is designed to help us to see the different personalities that we develop in life over time. We are not born with a personality; we are born with individuality, yet we develop various attributes that mask our own true nature. In this guided practice, Alan will take us through the “forest” of our mind to reveal the different phantom characters that we have become attached to and believe are real. Once we have witnessed those characters we are then able to merge them back to our source, feeling no longer fragmented and “pulling ourselves together”.
