YOGA is a physical/spiritual practice that consists of two simultaneous activities.
1. Deep, measured breathing with eyes closed.
2 An extended series of gentle stretches, compressive twists, and forward bends designed to stimulate and balance what has traditionally been referred to as fascial connections throughout the body, and what has most recently been identified as the Interstitium – a total-body system comprised of a fluid-filled collagen/elastin network that acts as a container, cushioner, and connector for all the various organs of the body.
In this workshop, by means of an extended YIN practice, we will further analyze what a YIN practice is, review various ways to approach it, and suggest ways you might easily develop a method that best suits you… your goals, your body type, and your physical condition.
