The number one reason people come to Yoga (Āsana) is to relieve back pain. While Āsana can be very therapeutic for our spines it, unfortunately, can also be aggravating. Housing both the superhighway of nerves as well the energetic body’s Sushumna Nadi, balancing the graceful architecture of the vertebral column has wide-ranging structural and spiritual benefits. Join us as we examine technologies that I have seen to be immediately beneficial to my own body and numerous students over the years.

This Prenatal Teacher Training, led by ISHTA’s own Gina Menza, is a distinct program specifically designed to prepare yoga instructors with the skills necessary to lead women through a safe pre and postnatal yoga practice. This 85-hour, Yoga Alliance training uses prenatal anatomy and its challenges, physiology and childbirth as a spring board for yoga teachers to create challenging and secure sequences with confidence.

Join us for the Exhale to Inhale trauma-informed yoga teacher training! Are you interested in learning more about the effect of trauma on the mind & body? As a yoga teacher, have you had a students’ trauma triggered during one of your classes? Get the resources and tools you need to act appropriately when this happens.
The training, facilitated by Exhale to Inhale Program Director Tara Tonini, includes 17 hours of lecture/experiential learning, a training manual, on-line community for sharing & networking, and access to videos / audio for continuing education.
