Stephen is a 500 hr certified yoga teacher in the ISHTA lineage . He first found yoga as an extension of his training as an actor, and was empowered by the tools of yoga to observe, shape, and balance his inner life. In his classes, he encourages students to witness how balancing the strength and flexibility of their physical bodies brings clarity to their minds. Stephen has studied closely with Mona Anand, who created ISHTA Yoga Nidra. He loves to incorporate Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation into his classes to counter balance the frenetic nature of modern urban life.
Stephen’s classes are known to weave together alignment, breath work, and play which lead his students into a sense of stillness and inner peace.
