We have been heartbroken by the stories coming out of India, and from our friends and families. The alarming spike of Covid Cases in India has led to a humanitarian crisis leading to a lack of lifesaving oxygen and overwhelmed hospitals. Organizations around the world are working together to bring oxygen concentrators to India where they are desperately needed.
We are so touched by the outreach of our community to help support India. We are offering a donation-based workshop with Alan, Mona, and Sarah next Wednesday, May 12th, to raise money for this cause.
100% of the proceeds from this workshop will go to the Pratham Covid Relief fund, which will provide immediate humanitarian aid to communities devastated by India’s COVID-19 crisis. As part of the COVID relief effort, Pratham is mobilizing oxygen concentrators, rapid tests, vaccines, personal protective equipment, and other urgent aid to as many people as possible.
Pratham is an innovative learning organization created to improve the quality of education in India. Pratham focuses on high-quality, low-cost and replicable interventions to address gaps in the education system. It was established in 1995 to provide education to the children in the slums of Mumbai.
This workshop will include mantra, asana, restorative, yoga nidra, pranayama and meditation. This is an opportunity for the entire ISHTA community to come together in solidarity with India to direct light and healing energy at this time of crisis.
Date: Wednesday, May 12th | Updated Time: 12–2:30 est
