In this workshop, Phil will breakdown the fundamentals of pranayama, Asana and meditation in the hopes of creating a more inclusive approach to yoga. Countless times we hear, “I’m not flexible enough to do yoga”….Or, “I can’t meditate because I cannot quiet my mind”.
Phil hopes to address these kinds of issues to break down any preconceived notions about Yoga.
The format of the workshop will start with an open dialogue about yoga and any obstacles that people face with their approach to yoga. Breath work will be discussed and various methods will be used. Phil will lead the group through a gentle flow with emphasis on alignment and modifications in the poses. The workshop will wind down with a brief meditation and a restorative Savasana.
All levels are welcome whether you have been doing yoga for years or curious about starting your practice.
