PART II
Yoga Therapy:
Solving the Issues Of Children Today
In Part I of the session, we’re looking at what you need to know to teach children and teens. In part II we will be looking at how to use Meridian Based Yoga Therapy to make a profound difference. We will look at how yoga therapy makes a difference with some of the biggest issues that children are dealing with today. We’ve all heard the statistics and the numbers are startling…ADD, DEPRESSION, STRESS/ANXIETY, ASHTMA, ALLERGIES, DIABETES, and OBESITY are reaching epidemic proportions.
In this session, we’ve selected two of the most prevalent issues: Digestion and ADHD, that children are dealing with today and will show how they can be addressed on a physical, mental and emotional level with Yoga Therapy.
You will learn the specific corrective exercises, breathing exercises, relaxations and personal development exercises that really work and you will have the opportunity to experience them in the session.

Bio: Loraine is a leading authority on yoga for children and teens. Over the past 20 years, she’s spent over 10,000 hours teaching 1000’s of children and teens. Her mission is to impact the lives of millions of children worldwide and set the standard for children’s yoga. She has trained over 1,000 yoga teachers, school teachers and those who work with children throughout the world how to teach yoga in a way that is meaningful, impactful and fun. Loraine is an active advocate of the benefits yoga for children & teens. She was featured in the documentary Yoga For Change and serves on the National Committee of the International Yoga Teachers Association, the National Committee of Australasian Association of Yoga Therapists and the Yoga In Schools Sub-Committee for Yoga Australia.
