Yatri- Yoga for Emotional Healing™ begins with understanding how our thought patterns and emotions affect our mental and physical well-being.  Through Yatri, we move through kleshas, a Sanskrit word meaning “mind poisons.” Antidotes for anger, anxiety, attachment, depression, loneliness and fear are taught through practices rooted in Indian and Tibetan Yoga.
Yatri is a holistic program based on 12 foundational principles, which are practiced together to experience a peace that is lasting and a happiness that is stable and sustainable. The foundations include wisdom, motivation, personal responsibility, tribe,  accountability, thoughts, communication, movement, meditation, nutrition and art.
In this three-day training, expect creative sequencing inspired by yoga asana and Indian dance, transformative meditations rooted in Tibetan and Indian Yoga, communication exercises blending modern psychotherapies and eastern philosophy, and teachings focused on conquering kleshas.

Module One
20 hour YA Certified Training, CE Credits May Be Applied

Loosen the grip of attachments in tonights class which includes a flow of movement and meditations inspired by Vedanta, Buddhism and Psychotherapy.

Saturday 11:00am-1:30pm Yoga to Transform Anger
Anger is one of the most destructive emotions in the human experience. Learn to move through anger in a constructive way through an asana flow focusing on arm balances, backbends, and meditations to cultivate understanding..

Sunday 8:00am-10:30am Transform Anxiety and Depression
Through a full body asana flow and detailed led meditation, experience six classic realizations that take us from a state of confusion to one of peace.

Early Bird Rate*: $475 (paid by September 19th, 2017) | Regular Tuition: $575
$50 each for Saturday and Sunday morning classes
$250 for full Saturday or Sunday sessions

The yoga therapy components of our training are based on our Yoga Nidra expertise, not derived from our status as a RYS with Yoga Alliance Registry.
