The word solstice, from Latin, signifies “the time when the sun stands still.” Join Megan Young in honoring the stillness and bountiful light of the summer solstice season through a self-care ritual. This 90-minute experience will include:
- A guided self-massage practice using yoga therapy balls and breathwork, aimed to create more freedom in the soft tissues of the body.
- A restorative yoga sound bath with crystal singing bowls and tuning forks, to sink into bliss and renewal
Offer yourself space for self-inquiry, release, rest, and radiance. This workshop is open to all.

Megan Young understands that most of us could use help to feel more at home in ourselves. Her classes are dogma-free, light-hearted, and full of nurturing space for you to have your own experience. She is reverent to modern science and to the timeless, sublime poetry of being alive. Teaching since 2010, Megan is a sadhaka (yoga master-in-training) and teacher training faculty member in the ISHTA Yoga lineage, and she offers the philosophical tools of yoga in accessible, practical ways. She has a background in western classical music, loves making things with her hands, and feels most at home in the woods. meganyoungyoga.com
