Do you love yoga? Do you also love being creative? Combine your love of both and reconnect to your inner artist in this exploration of the intersection of art, yoga, and the mind, presented by NY YOGA + LIFE™ Magazine.
Movement, yoga, sound, and meditation can help us generate space in our bodies and minds so that we can more easily reconnect to our creativity. This program kicks off with an art-inspired yoga session, followed by a brief introductory panel with all the program presenters. Throughout the weekend, you
- Attend yoga classes inspired by artwork, art history, and writing
- Make art with your body through asana and photography
- Expand your creativity by making your own mala bracelets
- Enjoy a unique sound bath experience.
Works of art from both the Rubin Museum of Art and MASS MoCA will be on display digitally throughout the sessions.
Presenters: Faith Hunter, Sarah Platt-Finger, Yogiraj Alan Finger, Robert Sturman, Satya Scainetti, Tashi Chodron, and Laura Dickstein Thompson
