We are excited to announce that our ISHTA 200 Hour Global training will run this summer in Helsinki, Finland alongside our New York City Training! Live sessions in Finnish with Mikaela Soldan at Sweet Spot Studio (Unioninkatu 7, Helsinki) 9-12.30 Monday through Saturday
ISHTA Masters Alan Finger, Mona Anand, Peter Ferko and Wendy Newton will lead the online sessions that will run together with New York on our global platform. 15.00 - 19 Monday through Saturday

ISHTA 200-Hour Global Training in Sweden
Transform your practice and bring inspiration into your life!
We are thrilled to announce that the ISHTA 200-Hour Global Training will be offered in Gothenburg, Sweden, running in parallel with our New York City flagship training. This will be a hybrid training, with online lectures led by ISHTA co-owners Alan Finger and Mona Anand, and senior ISHTA trainers Peter Ferko, Kelly Eudailey, Wendy Newton, and Douglass Stewart, each with over twenty years’ teaching experience. Helen Jansson will be teaching the in-studio portion of the training in Gothenburg.
Training Schedule – Gothenburg, Sweden
Hosted at Anna Ahlqwist’s studio on Lillatorpsgatan 18, our in-person sessions will be held:
Fridays: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Saturdays & Sundays: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Teaching will be offered in Swedish, led by Helén Jansson, assisted by Anna Ahlqwist. Veronica Holm will be a guest lecturer.
ISHTA’s Yoga Alliance certified 200-Hour Teacher Training is a life-changing experience, whether you want to deepen your practice or become a teacher.

What You’ll Learn
Asana
Direct experience of yoga poses in class, posture labs for deeper exploration of the poses, and practice-teach sessions to build confidence and clarity.
Meditation
Techniques to cultivate inner stillness and reconnect to your essence — including ISHTA’s signature meditation practice, ISHTA Diksha.
Pranayama
Breathwork practices to release stress, return to the natural breath, balance energy, and prepare for meditation.
Philosophy
In-depth study of Ayurveda, Tantra, the Yoga Sutras, and more — integrating ancient wisdom into modern life.
Anatomy
A deeper exploration of the physical body — including muscles, joints, injury management, and understanding the nervous and circulatory systems.
Specialty Lectures
Additional sessions include prenatal, restorative, Sanskrit, and yin yoga.
Meet Your Trainers in Sweden
Helén Jansson
As an integral part of the ISHTA Global Training and Admin Team, Helén teaches in both 200h and 300h programs and hosts the ISHTA Immersion and Master Programs. After taking her first yoga training in 2009 and teaching Poweryoga on her spare time, she found her way to ISHTA and took her 300h Training in 2015. She earned her E-RYT 500 credential in 2017 -the same year she became a full-time Yoga Coach and Ayurvedic Health Advisor.
Anna Ahlqwist
As a licensed Physiotherapist, Anna brings extensive clinical experience, particularly in back health and physical therapy. She has taught yoga since 2013 (including as a complementary treatment at a Swedish university hospital since 2019). She completed her 300h ISHTA Training in 2017 and holds the E-RYT 500 designation from Yoga Alliance.
Both Helén and Anna has also taken Yoga Nidra, Restorative and Meditation Trainings at ISHTA as well as added Yin Yoga to their portfolio too.
