ISHTA Dinacharya Retreat with Alan and Sarah Finger — Daily Routines and Rituals of the Committed Yogi

Join Yoga Masters Alan and Sarah Finger for a four-day immersion into the living wisdom of ISHTA at their serene home in Boca Raton, Florida. This intimate retreat offers a rare opportunity to study directly with Alan and Sarah and to experience the daily rituals and inner practices that form the foundation of the ISHTA lineage.

This year’s retreat centers around ISHTA Dinacharya—the daily routines and rituals of the committed yogi. These are the very practices Alan continues each day, passed down to him by his teachers, designed to bring the subtle body into harmony with the rhythms of nature and the flow of consciousness itself. Participants will learn the steps of ISHTA dinacharya, exploring how to integrate them into modern life as a way to sustain balance, clarity, and awakening.

In addition to these foundational teachings, Alan will guide participants in the art of pulse reading—learning to sense and interpret the pulse with an understanding of prakriti and vikriti. From this refined awareness, you’ll discover how to prescribe mantras and kriyas to yourself, aligning vibration with your current state and needs, and deepening your ability to self-heal and self-regulate through sound and awareness.

Sarah will share teachings on agni—the inner fire and power of digestion—and the rhythms of nature, offering insight into how these forces shape both our physical vitality and spiritual growth. You’ll explore how to attune your daily sadhana to these natural cycles, cultivating practices that enhance energy, clarity, and ease in living.

Each day will include guided asana and meditation classes, lectures, and informal discussions, interwoven with nourishing Ayurvedic meals and quiet time for rest and reflection. As always, Alan and Sarah create a loving, grounded environment where this ancient wisdom is made accessible, experiential, and alive.

Whether you are looking to establish a more integrated daily practice, refine your intuitive understanding of the subtle body, or reconnect with the inner rhythm that links you to the cosmos, this retreat offers a rare doorway into the living transmission of ISHTA. Step inside—and return home to yourself.
