Bio: Cathy Lilly, C-IAYT, teaches to share gratitude and help others discover the healing aspects of yoga. Decades ago she discovered how to release her own debilitating pain triggered by spinal herniation and stenosis injuries, informing her on how to adapt and modify movement and breath to alleviate suffering. This led to her teaching medical yoga therapy in a doctors’ medical practice, to patients with diagnoses ranging from chronic low back pain to osteoporosis. Today, besides doctors’ referrals, Cathy teaches group yoga classes and private student lessons. She’s also has been an expert source for major media outlets, including ABC World News Tonight.
