Yoga Nidra and the Chakras: From Inner Vision to Universal Consciousness
Registration opens Monday October 12

Ajna Chakra Training - Oct 29 + 30
Sahasrara Chakra Training - Nov 19 + 20

Reconnect with your own essence through Ajna, then explore your connection to the wider ocean of consciousness through Sahasrara. Join either training individually or take both.

AJNA - INSIGHT, INTUITION & VISION

Our reality is shaped by what passes across the screen of our mind. Ajna, the third-eye chakra, is the center of insight, intuition, and vision—the starting point for envisioning what we wish to bring into our lives. Manifestation begins with visualization: before we can bring a possibility to life, we must be able to imagine it. By becoming aware of the thoughts and images we return to, we can begin to choose what we play across that inner screen and take a more conscious role in creating our reality.

Thursday evening’s Restorative / Yoga Nidra to Balance Ajna is one of Mona’s signature Restorative / Yoga Nidra workshops. It combines gentle asana and yummy restorative poses to the sound of a soothing sound bath, with optional gentle hands-on adjustments and the aroma of essential oils for in-studio participants, followed by a long practice integrating all nine steps of Mona Anand’s ISHTA Yoga Nidra. The practice invites awareness inward toward Ajna to quiet mental clutter and clear the screen of the mind. Online participants are welcome.

Friday afternoon’s three-hour training includes reflection on the workshop, a shorter practice, and exploration of how to adapt all nine steps to balance this energetic center. Learn to create practices for yourself or your students, including shorter practices you can integrate into your classes and daily life.

SAHASRARA - CONNECTION, WISDOM & INSPIRATION

In the yogic understanding, Sahasrara, the crown chakra, connects our individual awareness with the unified field of consciousness—the ocean of which each of us is a drop. Through this connection, we invite wisdom, inspiration, and joy into everyday life, bringing our inner and outer worlds into resonance.

Thursday evening’s Restorative / Yoga Nidra to Balance Sahasrara combines gentle asana and yummy restorative poses to the sound of a soothing sound bath, with optional gentle hands-on adjustments and the aroma of essential oils for in-studio participants, followed by a long practice integrating all nine steps of Mona Anand’s ISHTA Yoga Nidra. The practice moves through the chakras along the spine, inviting balance in each energetic center, opening us to the ocean of consciousness, and bringing that connection back into our lives. Online participants are welcome.

Friday afternoon’s three-hour training includes reflection on the workshop, a shorter practice, and exploration of how to adapt the nine steps of Mona Anand’s ISHTA Yoga Nidra to balance the chakras and support connection through Sahasrara. Learn to create practices for personal use or teaching, bringing the experience of wisdom and inspiration into everyday life.

A training rooted in Mona’s lifetime experience with Yoga Nidra

This training is grounded in Mona’s 40 years of relationship with Yoga Nidra — beginning with her first experience of the practice as a teenager growing up in India. Over the past two decades, she has devoted herself to studying, practicing, and refining this work, co-creating the nine-step system of Yoga Nidra developed by Mona and ISHTA founder, Alan Finger.

This method supports deep rest, expanded awareness, and the release of past, present, and even future impressions. Students often describe feeling lighter, clearer, inspired, and more deeply connected to their own inner guidance.
