A Somatic Journey into Inner Quiet

Using natural sounds such as rain, wind, ocean waves, and even thunder, we explore how the nervous system responds to activation and how we can return to regulation without needing the world around us to become silent. Through somatic awareness, vagus nerve practices, visualization, breathwork, grounding, and deep fascial release, we’ll strengthen our capacity for self-regulation and resilience. Together we’ll practice:

• Expanding body vocabulary and learning the language of sensation

• Recognizing cues from the nervous system before stress takes over

• Activating and settling the nervous system safely

• Releasing restrictions in the diaphragm and breath

• Finding support through weight, gravity, touch, and presence

• Discovering an inner refuge that remains available even in the middle of life’s noise

The goal isn’t to avoid stimulation. The goal is to develop the ability to meet it with awareness, flexibility, and a calm, steady breath.
